Established in 1984, RWA-ETC is a Region Five chapter and 37th affiliate of Romance Writers of America®
Welcome to RWA-ETC! We're an active group of writers whose work covers the full spectrum of romance sub-genres, from historicals and Regencies to paranormals and contemporary comedies. With regard to experience, we range from those who are putting their first ideas to paper to seasoned authors. Our goal is to support writers in their craft.
RWA-ETC offers writers:
Fellowship with other writers on a monthly basis
Writing Retreats & Workshops
An annual Expert Exposé
Contests
Critique Sessions
"Romance Among The Roses" (A monthly newsletter packed with informative articles and the latest market news) and...
Motivation to write!
Come join us on the third Saturday of the month at SPRING CREEK BARBECUE, 5810 SS. BROADWAY IN TYLER (visit our meeting schedule page for more information). We have speakers generally every month to spur our writing and creative development. It's also a great opportunity to see who we are, what we're up to, and where we're going.
